Major Responsibilities
·Design, develop, and maintain scalable and responsive web applications that meet business requirements and align with best practices.
·Develop features and improvements across all layers (database, services, and Web UI) to our products, in a secure, well-tested, and performant manner.
·Craft code that meets our standards for design, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards, via code review.
·Solve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. Confidently ship small features and improvements with minimal guidance. Collaborate with team on larger projects.
·Participate in team daily, weekly and Agile SCRUM meetings, estimates, documentation, and other parts of the software development lifecycle.
·Participate in occasional weekend or night on-call rotations, assist troubleshooting/security operations, and urgent engineering issues.
·Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in web development.
·Collaborate with the PM and other stakeholders within the team (e.g., UX) to maintain high quality, in a fast paced, iterative environment.
·Actively participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
·Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and contribute to the overall product roadmap.
·Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and workflows.
To be successful in this role, you need

·Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field
·3+ years programming experience in a peak performance organization, preferably a tech startup.
·Technology expertise must include HANA Service, HANA Cloud, SQL, CDS, Stored Procedures, Cloud Foundry,HTML5,CSS3, JavaScript,Node.js, Angular, RESTAPIs
·Building HR Extensions on HRIS.
·English Proficiency, written and verbal for working in remote and asynchronous teams.
·Experience managing client product implementations.
·Effective communication skills. Ability to achieve consensus with peers, and clear status updates. Self-driven with ability to work in a highly agile, intensely iterative, software development process. Aptitude to learn quickly, apply new technologies.
·Demonstrated capacity to communicate clearly and concisely complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions.
·Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems.
